Products Art info and Set Up costs

a) Black and white line art (i.e. graphics and text) that is sharp in detail and not folded, wrinkled, or damaged in any way. Artwork should be on glossy photographic paper (velor) rather than printed on matte or textured paper stock.
b) Color-separated art with one piece of art (positive film preferred) per color, including
registration marks. Please note that we cannot imprint halftone artwork.

Charges will be assessed as follows for final presentation of supplied artwork prior to screen printing or laser engraving:
1) Light touchup = No charge
2) Typeset only = No charge
3) Typeset copy added to camera-ready artwork = No charge

Note: Unless otherwise specified on order, we reserve the right to lay out and select type styles for best imprint appearance.

Art charges for non-camera-ready artwork will be assessed according to time difficulty and amount of materials used. Charge is $60.00 per hour; we automatically notify you if charges exceed $35.00 net. When available, please include a sample from previous order or refer us to your previous order number, date of order and our invoice number if known. Final artwork will be kept on file by Busrel for approximately 24 months. Any repeat order after that time period requires new artwork from customer and screen charges will be invoiced.

CAMERA-READY ART: Quality camera-ready art supplied by client must be on velor or digitized on Macintosh or IBM formatted disk, or on positive film in order to take advantage of our 5 working days free service for the one color imprint in one area. Please note that printed letterhead, business card, fax, etc. are NOT camera ready artwork. Laser print should be 1200 dpi or more, more so for small print.

DIGITAL ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS:

Artwork may be supplied on a Macintosh or IBM formatted disk using the specifications listed below.
File format specifications:

1. Files should be EPS with Adobe illustrator compatibility, or TIFF.
2. EPS files should be set for black and white 1 bit preview.
3. TIFF files must be black and white. No color files please.
4. Fonts used in EPS files must be converted to outlines.
5. TIFF files should be 200% (or larger) of final required imprint size and 600 dpi (1 200 dpi actual resolution at 100%)
6. Do not combine artwork for multiple P.O.’s into a single file.
7. Use the PO number for the file name
8. Use appropriate file extension E-mail: Same specifications compressed in Stuffit or Zipit.

CATALOGUE PHOTOGRAPHY: Logos used in this catalogue are for illustrative purposes only. They do not imply endorsement, nor are any items with these specific logos for sale to anyone other than parties expressly authorized by the owner of such design.

CLAIMS: Merchandise should be inspected immediately upon reception. If you have a claim or complaint, write or fax at once. All claims must be received within 10 days from the date of the invoice.

COLOR OF IMPRINT/STANDARD: We offers the following screen printing imprint color as standard at no charge: beige, black, royal blue, light blue, process blue, burgundy, brown, gold, dark green, medium green, grey, orange, pink, purple, red, tan, teal, yellow, silver and white.

COLOR OF IMPRINT/PMS MATCH: If imprint specifies a PMS color or a match to sample color, add $32.00(v) each color, per item, including repeat orders. Co-ops are a one time charge only.

ATTENTION: Light color to be imprinted on dark color items need a white coat first therefore please note that an additional color is to be charged.

DELIVERY : WITHOUT CAMERA-READY ARTWORK, with larger quantities, multi-color imprint, allow 2-3 weeks. For a 5-working-day service, and 10% per color, per location.

We assume no responsibility for carrier or en route delays and other hazards, such as strikes, etc. if the order is required for a special occasion, please indicate the date on your order and the name of the carrier you want.

EXACT QUANTITY: Orders marked "Exact Quantity" for catalogue quantities require an additional charge of $30.00(v).

FAXED ORDERS: Faxed orders are ORIGINALS. If you confirm via mail, be sure to mark on your mailed order "Confirmation of FAX", or you will be billed for both orders produced.

FREIGHT DAMAGE: in case of freight damage, please notify the freight company at once. Do not return parts to shipper. Maintain parts in original shipping carton until claims agent for the freight company has inspected the damage.

HANDWRITTEN ORDER: We assume no responsibility if a handwritten order is misinterpreted. Please have your advertisement copy typewritten. We will fax you a paper proof and invoice $10.00 net for your safety.

IMPRINT COLOR CHANGE: $35.00(v) per color, per item.

INK COLORS: Stock inks are listed by closest coated PMS equivalent: these comparisons are approximate and may vary. All comparisons bases on printing on white product.
Color will look different on colored backgrounds. Please note that ink color availability varies by product. To avoid PMS match charges $35.00(v), select from the available stock inks listed.

LASER ENGRAVING: $0.50(v) each item + $50.00(v) set up charges if logo. Personalization, $2.50 net each item.

LESS THAN MINIMUM: $45.00 net per color. No orders accepted for less than half of the minimum quantity.

NSF CHEQUE: $35.00 charge.

PLATES AND SCREEN: $40.00(v) per color, per area for each different article (not applicable on exact repeat order within 2 years).

PROOF: Paper proof - First paper proof free of charge - change on paper proof $10,00 each - New paper proof if requested $10,00 net, each. Finish proof - $45,00(v) per color, per area plus price of item plus screen charges - change on finish proof $35,00(v) - new finish proof $45,00(v).
Paper proof will be sent by e-mail or by fax. Delayed response will result in delayed production. Production time starts after receipt of response. Once approved, we will not be responsible for errors.

QUANTITY: 5% over or under constitutes fulfillment of an order.

QUOTATION: ALL VERBAL OFFERS ARE NOT BINDING UNTIL THEY ARE CONFIRMED BY WRITING.

SAMPLES: 3rd quantity pricing. If returned prepaid(mail), we will credit them less $10.00 for invoicing, credit and restocking. Must be in perfect original condition. Freight or special shipping method(s) is billable.
